Southwestern Elephant Butte Lake State Park New Mexico near Truth or Consequences, NM the old town that used to be called Hot Springs. This lake has a green color near the shallows when observed from the lookout point on the road where this painting was completed from. Original watercolor southwest painting. Marina del sur is located in this image. This lake is the largest and most popular lake in New Mexico. Around 100 million years ago the lake a was part of a shallow ocean. When the ocean dried the area was the favorite hunting ground of the tyrannosaurus rex dinosaur. Mango tree fruit still life watercolor painting

This mango tree is down the road from my house in Satellite Beach Florida. Every day when I drive home I have to pass this tree with about 100 fully ripe mangoes dangling from it's branches. It reminds me of when I go on my weekend bicycle rides through Merritt Island down a road called Tropical Trail. It is so beautiful here. But I am only here temporarily as I leave soon to be stationed in Ft Benning Ga. I am a Infantry Soldier with an artist dying to get out, when I retire from the Army. But I have over 20 years, I am eligible to retire. One day I will move back to the home of the mangoes, Brevard County Florida.

Origin: The mango is native to southern Asia, especially Burma and eastern India. It spread early on to Malaya, eastern Asia and eastern Africa. Mangos were introduced to California (Santa Barbara) in 1880.

I live just blocks from the beach in Brevard County, Florida and the Sea Turtles
are a very special animal in central Florida. Every year they come near shore to
lay eggs on the beach. The close in waves are scattered with sea turtle life
throughout the day as the turtles await for night time to come ashore to lay
their eggs. several months later little turtles crawl their way to life at sea.
It is said that these same baby turtles will return to this same beach to lay
their eggs when they mature.

Other news is Shazam Mohammed, of S & K Distributors, an art dealer for Florida and north from North Carolina down to Louisiana, is representing me in upcoming art shows with 10 of my works.

Bobby from Zaracus Studio in England finished the audio and video for the gallery
representation there.

Dave Bosley, managing director of Artwork on Tile is working placement of over 10 of
my images on Tile Murals for bathrooms and kitchen backsplashes.
